Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us. Maverick Investor Group, LLC ("Maverick") owns and operates and associated blogs, forums, educational webinars, buying opportunity webinars, affiliated social media sites and other affiliated websites (taken together, the "Website"). It is Maverick's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating the Website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your personal information. By visiting the Website, you are accepting the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about accessing or correcting your personal data please contact Maverick at info[at]

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Maverick collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Maverick's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Maverick's visitors use the Website. From time to time, Maverick may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website. Maverick also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Maverick does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Gathering Personally Identifying Information

Certain visitors to the Website choose to interact with Maverick in ways that require Maverick to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Maverick gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up to receive the monthly Maverick e-newsletter to provide a first name and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Maverick – by registering to join our community of buyers for example—are asked to provide additional information, including a last name, phone number, state/region and country. Licensed real estate agents who register for the Maverick Referral Network are asked to provide even more information such as company name, license type and state, street address, and managing broker's name and phone. In each case, Maverick collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Maverick. In the interest of providing you extraordinary customer service, Maverick may periodically invite you to voluntarily provide additional information relating to your personal "preferences" and "interests" for the purpose of getting to know you so that we can show you customized client appreciation to thank you for your business. Maverick does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities on the Website or receiving certain services from Maverick.

Aggregated Statistics

Maverick may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Websites. For instance, Maverick may monitor the most popular links on the Website. Maverick may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Maverick does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifiable Information

Maverick discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, agents, managers, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Maverick's behalf or to provide services to you, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the Website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Maverick will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, agents, managers, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Maverick discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Maverick believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Maverick, third parties or the public at large. Maverick takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

If you have supplied Maverick with your email address, Maverick will typically send you a monthly e-newsletter. Maverick may also send you periodic special invitations to educational Webinars or private buying opportunity Webinars, and may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with Maverick. All Maverick emails will contain an "unsubscribe" link on the bottom of them so that, at any point, if you no longer wish to receive emails from us, you may immediately unsubscribe.

Surveys and Feedback Forms

From time to time, in the interest of improving our business and serving you better, Maverick may invite you to participate in a survey or feedback form about your experience with Maverick or your experience with a particular part of our business (such as at the conclusion of an educational Webinar for example). Maverick may aggregate non-personally identifiable information and display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Maverick does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described above, unless you provide your express written consent for us to do so (to publish your response as a testimonial, for example).
